Yanela is the brainchild behind Africa UK Pageant & Empowerment Programmes and she is pushing boundaries by providing an empowerment platform for Africans, those with African roots/connections that are based in the UK. Being both South African and British allows her to explore topics of passion such as women empowerment, special educational needs, diversity, heritage and culture with binocular vision.
With previous event organising experience, the success of the recent events such as the annual African Autism Awareness Gala Dinner, her experience and growth as a Mrs South Africa 2019 semi-finalist, Yanela believes that this platform will grow, meet international standards, be one of the top beauty and empowerment programmes in the UK, beyond and expand in more ways than one.
Yanela gets great satisfaction and thrives at hosting diversity embracing, women recognising and empowering events, and appreciates the positive impact these have on both participants and attendees. Her work can be found online searches and social media sites such as Facebook and Instagram.
